Uhm.... about 30 miles southeast. Dan lives in Rancho Santa Margarita near me.
They said on the news that th efire was headed West. I'm glad to hear you guys are North of it. I wasn't sure where Fallbrook was in relation to Santa Margarita, but the news said the houses destroyed in Fallbrook were on Santa Margarita Road.

My parents got a demo yesterday in their community on a product that is sprayed on your house if there is a firestorm headed your way. It instantly fireproofs it. After the danger is over hose it off. The only danger is the stuff is rather slippery. It is available in 5 gal and 1.5 gal sizes. It was claimed it takes an average of 7.5 gal's to cover your house. Just spray it on the house with a water hose with a special nozzle and a hose into the solution. My parents live in the local mountains near Idyllwild. They are in the 3rd year of a drought, though no one is saying much about that so far. Also the Forest Service has been kept from doing proper fire break work by the environmentalists. Lon
