how does it perform when compared to other units?

Is mine broken if the driver side doesnt lock when i press the lock? it will unlock but it wont lock. I have to do it by hand. I want it to lock when i press lock because i just got a viper car alarm. Any info you can tell me?

Spray the door lock mechanism inside door with lithium grease, it takes more power to lock than unlock, i did that with mine and worked great.

 

ok ill try that. I just didnt know if it was supposed to do that so you dont leave your keys in the car. you know what i mean.

make sure the screws are put back in the right place after you grease the door

my door used special long screws now it locks every time with my viper alarm

 

Whats the easiest way to spray it? right in the lock or should i take off the black cover over it?

 

you have to take the door panel off and theres a big hole to spray through
