KYB Shocks--GR2 or Gasadjusts
KYB Shocks--GR2 or Gasadjusts
I've decided on getting the KYB's for the IROC. Summit lists front struts (GR2) as the only option but for the rears they have either gasajusts or gr2.
What is the difference between the two and what is recommended?

I recommend the GR-2s in the front and the Gas-a-Just in the rear. It's what I have on mine and I love it.
I believe somebody ask a similiar question about the rears a couple of months ago, and I THINK the answer was that the GR-2s for the rear were softer than the Gas-a-Just. ......I think.

I was wondering the same question. Can anyone confirm that the GR-2s are softer? Which ones are better?

I get the impression that the GR2's are "softer" than the Gas-A-Just's. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but what's this business about mixing them up? It doesn't make sense to me to but the "soft" ones up front and the "stiff" ones out back. Who says the "combo" is intended for our cars. No flame, just need some explanation / clarification.
