Rear shock tower bar?
Rear shock tower bar?
Everyone and their dog has a front strut brace, but what about the rear shock towers? Would there be any benefit to fabbing one for the rear? It'd sit behind the reas seatback and under a cargo cover...
there's not really a need for it .. I assume you brought it up because of the imports and FWD's that have them .. they need them .. with a solid rear , LCA's , and a torque arm ..you really don't flex the rear around much .. if you do , cage it

Be careful! If you connect your harness to that bar, it will bend/ buckle at the mounting points under load (AKA Crash) The only safe way to do this is to create a ladder style bar for more strength! You could copy Hotchkis's strut tower bar, this should be sufficient. Good luck, be safe!
