yesterday a guy hit my baby from behind... he wasnt going that fast the only damage that i can see is the paint on my bumber is chipping and my bumper is a little misaligned and loose. ive also noticed after driving her today that when i come to a stop i hear a thud noise, and when im driving around 70 she shakes alot. what kind of damage could have been done? the insurance adjuster is coming over tommorow and i want to make sure im well educated on this so i dont end up getting screwed over....... thanks for any help you can give!!

 

check your rear fender wells ... I bet they "bow-ed" out a little from the impact .. now your car probably "dog-legs" going down the road :\ ... if the bumper is smashed to the point of dangling on the car ..it would be impossilbe not to bend the rear end .. there is a large plastic impact adsorber under the rear bumper , at 70 , it'll save your life , at 30 it'll make sure your car is totalled . you have to get your papaer work in order to show how much you have invested into the car ..otherwise they'll give you the going rate for you car at auction ..which is about 800 bux :\ ... it'll cost way more than that to fix anything that's wrong with it :\
