Best source for 1LE parts?

Where is the best source for the brake parts? I saw SSBC's 1LE kit, but think it is too expensive.

Are these parts still available over the counter?

I read through the 1LE post at the top, but couldn't find some of the answers I am looking for.

Thanks!

If you still have questions, talk to AndyZ28 (http://www.3rdgensolutions.com/1lehome.html) or Daniel Burke (http://www.ws6transam.org/1LEbrake.html). They have both done the swap and probably know all there is to know about it.

1LE parts come from a number of sources, GM, the scrap yard, and others. Where you go depends on what you need. Spohn may already be selling the whole kit, I'm not sure...www.spohn.net

Here's some sources I've used:

All caliper brackets and hardware: GMpartsdirect.com (GMPD)
Combo valve: GMPD
Front PBR calipers: Autozone ($55/pr after core!!)
Braided hoses: Earl's, P/N 28A190
'89 PBR caliper equipped 9-bolt rear: private seller
Bearings/Seals: Autozone
Front 1LE rotors: Ebay...$61/pr
Spindles: modified my own...2 hrs time, a drill, and a bandsaw

As you can see, you gotta look around.
