Edelbrock stb/FIREBIRD OWNERS LOOK
i like the Edelbrock 3 point brace that i have it really tightens up the front end and since it hooks up to the firewall it actualy got rid of some of my dash creaks
but as with the problem with the hotchicks bar.... my bar got a small nick in it and afterthat all the powdercoat started to flake off(NOT COOL)
and another thing if you have a trans am and want to put one of these in be prepared to take down your hood insolation and get out the ball peen hammer and the dremel because the bar wont fit under the stock trans am hood(not sure about regular firebird or formula hoods)with out a little tweking.
i called up Edelbrock and they told me that they were geting complantes that it was not fitting under the trans am hoods
it was designed for the camaros and the problem is that firebird hood swoops down a bit and the camaro hood stays straight
they told me to cut out or bang up the supports that the bar was hitting
i did it and it worked but i am geting a ram air fiberglass hood in a little wile and i wont have to worry
just thought firebird owners should know
