3rd gen disk vs 4th gen disk
does anyone know if i could get away with swaping 4th gen front rotors on a 3rd gen car so i can run 4th gen salad shooters ???? i know i can just buy the spacers and bolt it on but i rather only run 2 spacers rather than all for corners i can get the rotors for a deal
thinking no b/c they are bigger, but you could always make up a caliper braket...i am trying to do something like that....the farther out the caliper is the more leverage it has to stop the car.

No, the 4th gen cars have slip on rotors unlike we do. With the stock spindles there is no easy way to increase the rotor dia... hense the mods needed for the 1LE setup. I don't think the rotors themselves have anything to do with backspacing. The front suspension is completely different. Sorry, but you will have to buy the spacers.
