You either have to use the sticky clear silicone grease that comes with the polyurethane mounts or use ones with zerk fittings so you can keep them lubed. I bought the rear mounts with zerks installed and modified my stock front retainer shells by drilling and tapping then installing zerks. I cut spiral grooves in the inside and outside of the bushings as well as drilling through so the grease can flow into the center. I use valvoline synthetic grease. I now have something like 18 grease fittings more in my suspension than it had stock. If yours aren't greasable you will HAVE TO disassemble and grease them properly. The manufacturers recommend the sticky grease they supply because it doesn't wash out as readily. Either that or turn up the stereo and live with it. Lon

Lon, I think you said you used a Dremel to cut the grooves in your bushings? I may rethink my sway bar mount. I got 35mm greasable ones from ES, but I don't know if I will like them...just don't seem that sturdy. I take it you also used the Global West bushings 36mm? Please fill me in.

Thanks.....

No, I only used GW's Del-A-Lum front LCA bushings. I have ES brand 34mm front sway bar mounts p/n ENE35131G. Rear I have ENE 35147G. I plan to offer a package of modified ES front bushings and a reinforced front sway bar retaining bracket that includes a zerk fitting to grease them some time next month. If you can wait until then, I can help. Lon

Lon, you mentioned 34mm but I will be running a 36mm. I guess I could do the same mod using Guldstrand (not GW) 36mm swaybar bushings.

I can wait and see what you have.

Thanks.

the sway bar ones are a tad squeaky, as are the lca bushings, what i used in the end was a LITTLE bit of anti seize, its been together like that for years now, no squeaks.
