are there any avalibel for our cars?? i didnt think there were any..i want one!! well this weekend we put a solid aluminum square pipe in my friends integra. it was a square inch pipe. we just used self taping screws to connect it to the sides of the car. it made a big differance!! and for 5 bucks you cant go wrong. Today we kind of made that brace a little more complex.....we added a bar on the top of the trunk, then added 2 braces that go from each side to form a X. he spent bout 20 bucks all togeather, and this thing will keep that **** end striaght out of corners. very very very little body roll. this was all about 2 feet maybe behind his strut towers. My idea for my car was to buy the same bars he did,, only 2, and then connect one infront of the strut tower, and then put one in the back of the strut tower, and them maybe connecting the 2 in the middle with some more bars. so it look kind of like a mini ladder. i can probly get the peices that connect it all togeather welded on there so there arnt any bolts sticking out anywhere. waht are your guy's opinion on my idea, or subject for that matter?

I belive this was discussed before. I think the general consensus was that there is no need for one. We have a solid rear axle, and the LCA/Panhard, and the actual rear end itself does a sufficient job at keeping the rear of the car from distorting. The reason your friends integra (and most other FWD cars *cough imports
) saw a benefit from a rear STB is that he probably has an independent rear, which is more prone to having body flex. Anyone else care to expand on this?

It may not even be on this board. Try www.nethirdgen.org, it may have been on that board, not this one. I'm sure more people will respond though.
