Wait for Spohn SFCs or buy somethin else??

Plain and simple question.... should I wait forever and a day for Spohn to get his SFCs back into production or should I purchase another brand? I haven't read any reviews about any others so I need your input w/ experiences as to which are good and which arent? I'm planning on buying a few other things first, so I can hold off on getting some, but if there aren't any advantages w/ Spohn's I'd just rather get some other brand now and be done w/ them.

Thx

I waited 3 months to recieve mine (back before he switched to tubular) but man are they worth it. These things fit great...the guy that installed them at the exhaust shop said they were the best ones he had ever seen....and they made a HUGE difference. Plus Spohn offers a lot to us thirdgen owners...i say wait for them...you wont be sorry.

I ended up getting the Kenny Brown SFC's, got tired of waiting. I sent Spohn e-mails & left phone messages asking when the SFC's will be available but I never got a reply.

I just emailed spohn this week and he told me he doesn't have an exact ETA on when they will be in production again but he hopes to have them ready ASAP and he wants them back in production as much everyone else.. I'm also waiting for them to be ready since I'm most likely about to get a new paint job and I don't want any new stress cracks, I'd like to get kenny browns but they are too much money so I guess im waiting

soulbounder - they were on the expensive side but you know the saying "You get what you pay for". I've look at a few SFC's and I think that the KB's quality is second to none.

I went with Wolfe chrome moly SFC's for my Formula because I didn't want to wait. However, Spohn has given me advice and judging from his reputation on these boards, he makes really good products. I'll probably put Spohn SFC's and sway bars on the Z-28 that my brother is about to get.

EDIT: The chrome moly Wolfe SFC's were $180. Wolfe was recommended to me from a guy I know that really knows his stuff. Also, Arlington Motorsports Racing (a pretty decent local shop) says that the Wolfe's are great and that they are the best fitting SFC's for thirdgens and fourth gens.

Hey cort...i see you are from Ft. Worth. Have you heard of the North Texas Thirdgen Association? Its a thirdgen car club that started at the beginning of the year...we currently have 21 members...once we get 25 we'll start charging membership fees. If you are interested check us out at www.nttga.org You can join there if you are interested, and can also check out the our forum and the Texas Thirdgen Association forum (TTA is a group of all the thirdgen clubs in Texas that meet in each major city a few times a year).
