Which torque arm is right for me?
I've been looking at Spohn's, BMR, Global West, and Random tech, I like Spohn's and BMR's but they are completely different. For the price of Spohn's arm I can get BMR's chromoly arm!! The BMR bars bolt to the tailshaft but even they say it's still good till you break into the 10's. That isn't going to happen to me in the very near future and when it does you can bet I won't be running either Spohn OR any BMR bar.
Spohn's bar is made from mild steel and I like the design better but am not a big fan of it's weight. Sure it's low and in the middle of the car but it's still weight!
I might even just go with the steel BMR bar considering the price and it's still adjustable! What do you guys think? Keep in mind my car is a daily driver but that I don't care if it's got poly bushing or spherical ends. I'm also a big fan of a stiff suspension and I think spohn's arm is less "sloppy" with it's crossmember.
Any other considerations?

I'd go with spohn's. I used it on my daily driver for about a year before it went into a transformation phase. I absolutely loved it. As far as it wieghing more.. i wouldn't worry to much, a little wieght that improves traction isn't bad. It improved the handling of the car so much it wouldn't have mattered if it wieghed 50lbs more than it does. As far as the spherical ends being noisey.. i never really noticed.. and i drove without a radio for several months.
I just put in my spohn torque arm/t56 xmember this weekend. While I was pissed with the 6 weeks or so it took to get here, It really is a nice piece. Very stout. I got the poly front mount version.
