my tireds are only 5000-6000 miles old and they are already showing extreme tire wear on the outside tread. i had the front aligned when the new tired were put on, so i think the alignment should be fine. i haven't hit anything to knock the alignment out of place. anyone have any ideas?? perhaps the caster/camber is off?

 

camber/caster is part of the alignment, so if you think the alignment is OK then the caster/camber is OK. How hard do you drive your car? The stock alignment settings suck for 'spirited' driving and will wear the outside edge of the tires quickly. If you want a realignment, I (or someone on this board) will gladly post some better specs for hard driving.

 

i really dont drive my car hard. once in a while i will take a turn at a good speed, just to remind me why i drive the ROCK. i would appreciate any advice on adjusting you could give me.....
