Sub frame connectors

where do the sub frame connectors bolt to. Existing holes or does the interior need to be removed to drill. Where physically do they fit. I ask because i have a convertable and it has braces welded in just behind the ground effects from the asc conversion. I want to make sure it does not have sfc from the factory and i would buy these for no reason.

No, the 'vert does not have SFC's to begin with. You can add SFC's, but its best not to bolt them on. Have them welded in, also you have to make sure you have SFC's made especially for convertibles. They are a little different. (not sure how exactly). Finally, you will need to at least lift or remove your carpet when having the SFC's installed. The heat from the weld could burn a hole in the carpet.

yes...we do have SFC from the factory...well from ASC....but they are ****....they are just thin stamped steel. I was thinking about removeing mine and making my own that are much thicker metal.

I wouldn't call the sheet metal formed pieces ASC rivets behind the GFX a SFC. I agree is helps strentghen the frame, but it is far from a true SFC, (strength-wise). The reason why you need to get SFC's that are specifically designed to for a 'vert is because 95% of the ones out there are perimiter mounted and would fit right where our ASC frame reinforcements were put. Get the Alstons SFC's I recommended in the other post and have a muffler or frame shop weld them in. Just be sure they use a "drive-on" style lift not a frame lift. All 4 tires must be level and supporting the weight of the car. Good luck, Lon.
