rotors

hi, my rotors are warped pretty bad. does anyone recommend a good brand and are they hard to do yourself? i never really worked on cars b4, but ive done a few things: brake pads, b&m shifter, lil things like that. thanx in advance

I wouldn't attempt to grind warped rotors.

You can buy them at any parts store (I'd stay away from the Pep Boys type joints...but thats my opion). NAPA is a good place to go.

You can spend more $$$ for performance parts if you want.


If you have removed brake pads before, then removing the rotors is nothing more than loosening the bolts, popping the cap, and taking out the bearings. Pay close attention to how everything comes out because that is how you put it back in. Also get some fresh bearing grease. You shouldn't have any problems.

alright thanx. im going to attempt to do them tomorrow. ive replaced my front brakes b4 and if u say its nothing harder, then i should be fine. btw, i luv the b&m megashifter. thanx for the quick response.
