The best front end kit
The best front end kit
I know that one of the front end rebuild kits is disliked on the boards. Was it the PSC or PST kit? I am hoping to rebuild my front suspension next weekend and want to get all my parts ordered.
Also is anyone running the Hypercoil springs from VBP (Vette Brakes & Products). I was going to go with the Sprotline springs from Eibach, still trying to decide. Anyone have any input regarding the springs that would also be appreciated.

It's the PST kit that gets the most bad comments. All FOREIGN parts...don't do it. Go with Moog parts and ES bushings, or the PSC kit if you must. I figure you probably have a budget you're aiming at. Just in case, here's a few hints. Have all the parts ready, especially the coil spring isolators if you're gonna switch them out for new. I'm waiting on mine from ES and they won't be here until the end of the month. Don't forget to check and/or replace the motor mounts while you're in there..they're easier to get to with the front coils out.
I will be running the Eibach Pro-Kit...the name has a great reputation so that's what I went with. I haven't installed mine yet, but I'll give feedback when I do.

Thanks for your response. I think i will go with the ES bushings and Moog parts thanks for the suggestion. And i was planning on doing the motor and trans mounts while i was replacing all the bushings. Still unsure about the springs though. I don't believe the the Pro-Kit will lower the car enough to satisfy me. Where did you order your springs from? I have seen variations in price from $229 to $299. Thanks again.

I got my springs new from a private seller for around $200. I got a deal.
The cheapest I've seen the Pro-Kit is at www.ws6.com...$193 but I think shipping was $30 or so. That's still a good price.
You might find a set on ebay but just by chance.
