Do I need a new prop valve?

I got a 9-bolt rear out of a GTA that I'm going to put in my 92RS which currently has a drum brake rear. I was told that I do not need a new prop balve, IS this correct??

Also anyone knoe when spohn will be taking sfc orders again?

if your's is flat sided machined aluminum it ought to be ok, if it's sort of round cast replace it
