noises after sfc install

I just got done making and installing some subframe connectors in my Iroc. They seem to tighten up the car alot. Here is my question.
Did you guys notice that your doors seemed to make noise after you installed sub frame connectors? I figure that I had the car level both doors open and close without a problem. I have not welded the sfcs in permanently yet . If I need to make adjustments now is the time. I only notice the noise while going over particularly harsh jarring bumps.
Also what is the best way to level the car.
Thanks, Kory

if you mean the car is truely level that isn't right, the car doesn't normally set level. park it on a known level surface, i used my patio and use an angle finder to get some referance readings then when you jack it up replicate the readings. i used plywood squares under my jack stands for shims, but my garage floor slopes because of a drain.

More than likely your hinges are loose...
Open the door and have a partner lift the back end of the door
look closely at the hinges...
it is likely that they move

The reason you hear them a bit more is due to the
fact that the car itself isn't pinching them as much as before

1. fix hinges

for an explanation of the phenomenon

2. center the door pin in the latch mechanism

3. shim the door wedge plate for slightly firmer contact
