i know BFG's are high on the list for good tires, i have continental contitrac 2000's on mine and they suck @$$ i cant go anywhere in the rain i gotta drive like an old woman in a buick roadmaster.... what other tires get good all around traction??? we just put a Positraction rear on my car this weekend and i figured it'd help a little bit but not at all
any suggestions?????

 

Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP. The EP is there new design and impressively exceeds the previous Firehawk SZ50. This tire is also a little pricey but it shines in all departments including wear, noise and overall road comfort and man do they stick in the wet.

I'm a diehard BFG person so it was a strectch for me to try the firehawks. I only did because it is my wifes car and I was looking for a tire that would be a liitle more comfortable for her. Was I ever pleased at their performance level. Dry the BFG's are slightly better but these have the BFG's in the wet. The car rides Cadillac in straight lines and firms up nicely when twitched side to side.

 

Kumho Escta 712's is my choice. Super great dry grip, good wet traction, and the tread design looks bad ***. Also they are very very cheap.

 

i REFUSE to put jap tires on my car, no offense to anyone, a guy at the tire store around here tried to sell them to me, i think it would be a disgrace to any american car, just my 2 cents

 

well atcually their korean but its all cool. Just mentioning that they are very good.
