If it is possible, what back spacing will I need? I was thinking 5.5 but I'm not sure.

i'd guess it would or come close, 5.5 would be about right, but you ought to pull a wheel and check it for sure. if you have disk brakes might present more of a clearance issue.

I know the tire will fit, but I am not sure of the correct backspacing. On of the rags did a tire spacing issue a while back, it included 3rd gens. Maybe someone else remembers and can help.

The tire itself is right about the biggest one you can fit without a little work. If you wanted wide you can gain a little more room with some cutting, but then you have the LCA to contend with.

I "had" the same combination with 5.5 backspace. The 10.5 ET street only has about an 8" wide tread. There's lots of room. Disk brakes are very close. The mounting bracket for the caliper will be about 1/2" from the rim.

I now run a 29x9 Hoosier slick on the same rims.
