I own a 92 RS 305 TBI and everytime i floor it there is this loud bang, sometimes it sounds like its coming from the back then other times its coming right under the shifter. Im thinking a tranny mount is broke but why would it make a bang in the back?? Thanks

 

Your right. It's not hard to replace. Do it yourself.

 

Yep, prob lost the tranny mount. Make sure the torque arm mount is not broken first though. Mine broke inside the "clam shell" and made all sorts of noises.
