they do last fairly long with normal use, i would buy the eibach prokit, they will lower ur car just about an inch all around. Any they will help you handle better also!

i am going to purchase them quite soon.

They last just about long enough to get to the nearest garbage can, if you're talking about any kind of performance usage. They are designed with too many compromises to please the uninformed who want the look of a sports car but the ride of a big sedan, etc.

Stock shocks are even worse, they are no good when installed.

Shocks

As initially stated, they are easy highway miles. This is a commuter car. Performance gain would be a plus, but I won't pay extra for it.

I do not think the stock springs are that bad! When setting up my car for auto crossing I went to the dealer and purchased a set of BZXs for the front and NNMs for the rear. I then proceed to cut them down until I reached my desired hight at all four corners. I didn't take off more than a quarter coil all the way around. These springs coupled with my valved SSGT bilstiens and 36mm front and 24mm rear swaybar perform pretty respectable on the track and my car is still very streetable. I have used hypercoil springs and intrax springs and I felt both lacked the consistancy offered by the stock springs. When I first put the hypercoils on without modification all four corners were at different hights and when I did some shaving to level out my car they all needed varying amounts of material used. I was almost able to line up the stock springs and take the same amount of material off each one. Another complaint I had with the aftermarkets is after a hard season they would settle out and the corner weight would be all out of wack. I have ran my stockers for this whole season and my corner weight are almost identical to when I put them one. This is the first time I feel confident not changing out my springs for next season.

Stock shocks I am sorry to say are lacking, but I have seen limited success using the reacetek front struts with HD bilsteins out back similar to some IROC factory setups.
