Overhauling a 1LE Brake setup with better than stock 1LE sized parts

Howzit. I have a 1992 B4C witch has basically the same setup of the 1LE's HD calipers and 11.86 front rotors. Well the car has almost 90k miles and it looks like its time for an overhaul. I was wondering if there were any aftermarket parts that were better than the stock 1LE parts but are the same sizes so they just bolt right in? Do people make cross drilled vented 11.86 front rotors? Or can anyone recommend good pads to use? I'm also going to upgrade to the steel braided lines. Or if anyone has any recommendations on where to go from 1LE specs? I'm not in the market for Wilwood or Baer upgrades yet .. Thanks!!

Power Slot makes rotors for the 1LE, and EBC has pads for the 1LE as well. Thats the combination I'm thinking of going with. My original 1LE brakes are just about to hit 50K miles and I'm looking to do an overhaul too. Anyway just thought I would throw in a couple of suggestions.

Both drilled and/or slotted 1LE rotors are available. Power Slot is one company, Autospecialty is another. Personally, I'd stay away from drilled rotors. Slotted or solid is the better choice IMHO.

As for brake hoses, Goodridge is the best choice. The kit you'll want is #12253. http://www.goodridge.net/us_carapps/usca_chevrolet.html

With pads, you have a few choices. Performance Friction, Hawk, KVR, EBC. I've used PF, Hawk and KVR and have been happy with them all. All of them offer different compounds for different types of driving.

I bought my slotted rottors and performance friction pads from http://www.appliedrotortechnologies.com for $300. I have about 10,000 miles on the brakes and took them off the other day to intall new front LCA's; the pads were hardly worn at all.
