Control Arm Bushings

I replaced my control arm bushings with Energy Suspension ones. I got them back from the machine shop today and went to go install them and am having a really hard time getting them in. I had the old ones off before and put them back on with out a problem. Is it because these are ment to be tighter?

It seems that there is too much space on one side of the bushing and not enough on the other. It made me think that the bushing was in wrong but both flanges are on the outisde of the contorl arm, so I guess it's in right.

I made a drawing of what I'm talking about.

Edit: The drawing is a little exadurated though. I took a look at the control arm again and I think the bushings might not be in all the way. I'm gonna bring it back and have them put it in more.

That's the way mine looked when I put it in on Monday. I put a bottle jack under the far right edge of the control arm under the bushing and it just barely cleared. By the way, did you also replace the ball joint while you have the control arm off? Now sounds like a good time to do it.

I have the ball joints but I couldn't get the press to work for me so I'm going to bring it to the machine shop and have them do it, and also press the bushings in a little more. It looks like there's about 1/4" between the bushings and the arm.
