subframe bushings?
have you got under your car and looked? i've made solid bushings for differant people for the body bushings and for spring eyes on leaf set ups. it's not hard to do, just turn a piece in a lathe.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but they stopped bolting in the subframes in '70. They've been welded in ever since. The K-member is bolted in though instead of being welded to the front clip like on Nova and camaros.

I have absolutly no idea what you guys are talking about. What are the sub-frame bushings/mounts and where exactly are they located??
There are none on our cars, don't worry about it. Back in the day when bodies and frames were two different things, they'd bolt them together with thick pieces of rubber between the frame and body so it wouldn't be super loud and rub and etc.

I knew that but why is someone posting this question regarding 3rd gens?? Is this another muffler bearing type question?
No, I think it's more of a blinker fluid question. LOL It would also require some recombobulation.

See, the problem with recombobulation is that no one can combobulate as good as the factory combobulator. Your still gonna run into decombobulation trouble.. plan on replacing your discombobulating discombobulator and recombobulating the whole combobulation system every 8 or 9 months. If you really wanted to, you could always swap to a non-combobulating combobulator. Its expensive, but itll save you the money of recombobulting that damn decombobulator every time it gets decombobulated.

These cars don't have them. 2nd gens had them up through their demise in 81. Like ede said, it used to be popular in racing setups to put aluminum ones in there. Doesn't apply to these cars though.
