Is it worth the time to install a WS6 suspension on my car?
look at my sig. for my rides info.
I have a set of WS6 suspension springs "already installed the 36mm sway bar"
I am wondering if it is worth the time and effort to go from my current stock IROC-Z springs to the WS6 springs I have from an 89 formula 350, I heard they are the best suspension that came wiht our cars, but how much better??
what benefits exactly would I expect from this swap? please tell me whats up with this suspension.
thanks

No.
For one thing, they are are the same as the ones you have, or worse.
For another, they are completely worn out if they've been on a car for even half as long as the youngest possible age they can be. Stock springs are garbage, as you will discover if you compare them to some decent ones. There's no sense in doing as much work as it is to change them, particularly the fronts, just to put more garbage back in, because it has some kind of glamorous "code" stamped on it.
If you want to improve your car's handling but retain the stock height, there is a Moog part # that fits these cars, with a 700 and some-odd lbs/in rate. That's about 50% more than the stiffest stock one. They are excellent, I love mine.

yeah i believe that iroc-z came with the good suspension, they did not really have a certain name for them. in the firebirds the performance suspension had a nane and it was called ws6.
so your iroc-z suspension should be the same as ws6 suspension.. when i wrecked my iroc-z the front sway was huge and the rear one was huge also, and the springs looked thick..
iroc-z even came with the wonderbar..
so if you replace anything on your suspension you should buy aftermarket parts, instead of installing used gm stuff...
