replacing power steering seals, how do I do it?
The bottom of the drive shaft (steering wise) has a seal which is leaking very bad. I can't get inspection with the leak so I have to replace the seal. Any sugestions of what I need to do. I have a 350 with a/c. I haven't even tried yet, but I just wanted to know some opinions on what all kind of work is needed to be done.
Oh yeah, when I had the car on a lift, I looked at the nut for the pitman arm. It was so loose I could turn it by hand. I could have lost steering and died. pretty crazy.

I already bought the seals. $14 for the overhaul kit. I will work on it tomorrow morning. I still might need some experienced advice though.
ok then since you want to take it apart, the first problem i ran into was holding the box, ended up using lag screws and bolting it to my bench. then i needed a socket 1 5/16ths i think. pay attention to any vee seals, if any, and the direction they're installed.
