Front end rebuild question

This question is about my 67 camaro, im going to rebuild the front end on my 67 and im just curious if im gonna need any special tools or lubricants to assemble/dessemble everything.... and i have also heard that ball joints have to be pressed in? is this true?

pickle fork, press, grinder for the rivits, muffler gun, a hot wrench sure makes taking it apart a lot faster and doesn't hurt since you'll trash the sway bar bushings and the shocks. no the ball joints aren't pressed but the control arm bushings are

forgive my inexperience, but what are muffler guns and hot wrenches? i assume the pickle fork is for prying apart the linkages??
