Wut Da' Dillio!
Hey guys,
I just got my car back from Pep Boys, I had them balance the front tires and get a front end alignment. The balancing worked, the car is stable at 80 and much higher I am sure. The problem I am having is, the steering wheel still has to be tilted right to go straight. Shouldn't an alignment make it go straight? Also, I was told the alignment would cure my brakes pulling the car to the side when I stop. It still pulls, I am sure it could be something else, but does this mean they did a half a*s job of aligning my car? What Da' DILLIO! Haha j/k, lemme know what you guys think.

The steering wheel in my car point to the right when i'm going straight. Also the pulling when braking is the brakes, probably not an alignment problem.
either you got a 1/2 assed alignment mechanic or a sloppy one. they should of used a steering wheel jack to locate your steering wheel like it was going straight then set the alignment accordingly. sounds like you have on brake not working as much as the other side. check soft lines, stuck caliper piston, things like that.

You might want to find a better shop. The steering wheel gets adjusted centered by the tie rod adjusting sleeves; I suppose if the tie rods are realllly out of whack, you couldn't get the wheel centered, but then, you shouldn't be driving on those tie rods then!
Just look under the front suspension at the tie rods going to the front of each wheel, you'll see the adjusting sleeves between the inner rod & outer rod, one on each side of the car.
And I agree, you probably have a clogged/collapsed front brake line. Does the car pull the opposite way if you let off the brakes real quickly?

it doesn't pull the opposite way, so I suppose that the pressure flows freely in the right brake line.
