Help ME!!

My brakes suck large portions of @$$. My pads and rotors seem to look alright but my fluid is looking dirty. Im going to bleed the line. I dont know if that will work but its worth a shot. My pedal goes down before it actually works and if i push it as far as it will go it dont stop fast at all, it will barely make my head move foward at all. Its starting to get very scary PLZ help Me:hail:

If your fluid looks dirty or is old you should change it. Bleed the right rear, left rear, right front, then left front, in that order. If you think there might be any air in the master cylinder, you have to bleed that first.

You also may have glazed the pads if they weren't broken in properly. Roughing the surface a little with emery paper may help. If the rotors are glazed you should probably have them resurfaced.

If you need more detailed info, get a Haynes or Chilton manual, or ask here for more help.

You may also have a bad master cylinder.
