Thunder Racing has them! Click on the red box at the top of the screen and goto thirdgen suspension stuff.

They're avaliable in different materials and with some different options. I think they're made by PA Racing.

Road Tech (www.roadtechonline.com) has them, but you have convert to a coil over setup, which is probably not what you want.

Global West is currently in the process of designing and manufaturing A-arms for 3rd gens. They will be out around the start of next year. It will be worth the wait. They are known for their A-arms in other car applications! Strong as hell.

I can't help but recall your comments concerning the pieces Karl Hunter is making for us. I was one of the first to express interest in having these over a year ago. I asked Karl to give us/me as reasonable an estimate as he could including a range to allow for fudge factor. I don't think he's done badly at all considering all of the factors in this case.

I have dealt with Global West for something like 4-5 years and have alot of their stuff on my thirdgen. It is good stuff, but I have run into many time delays, often getting promised a new completion time two or three times and getting stuff months later than told. I will likely be interested in the tubular A arms you mention from GW, but I won't be holding my breath if I order them.

You see Christobal, Global West does not take your money until they have the product ready. You will not be able to order the A-arms until they have them on the shelf. What I stated above about them being out next year is an R & D date which is different than when someone actually takes your money and then promises you a finish date. I don't see why that is hard to understand. Also don't see what the concern about it is here on this post, its totally irrelevant.

I ordered the Traclink system in advance of it being in stock. True, I did not pay untill I picked up the order. I spoke with Doug in person. I have probably been to his place and spoken with him or someone in person 5-10 times over the years. He knew I had a 9 inch Ford rearend. He told me he had a jig and would prepare me a link between the two instead of the standard setup. This was before I picked up the order. He did not say he would add to the cost of the order for doing this. When I picked the order up, sans the the link-9 inch piece, he added $90 to the order. I was not happy (in my head) thought it over quickly and then proceeded to go ahead with it.

>>>>>It took 3-4 months for him to make that part, when told a week or so. This is not a misprint. I had everything done and had to wait with my street driven car up in the air for an extra 1/4 year. I am not a nag, I went in once in person after the delay developed, and a couple of times on the phone. When I got the part, I attempted to install it and had a clearance issues with the ears on the part. I cut them off and welded them to the other side of the part, ground off the remnants of the ears on the wrong side etc. painted the whole thing. I never mentioned it to Doug because, quite honestly I was better off at this point just handling it myself and going on with things.

Why is this being posted in this thread? I have the objectivity to recommend Global West parts. They are quite good with a few potential exceptions. Even if you have not paid for an order, use caution with estimated time of availability and with issues as I described above.

I repect your opinion against Global West. If they steered me wrong, they would never again have my business. Those of you who might think I'm a hard-***. I expect when someone gives me a time frame that they stick to it, otherwise I will stand there in their presence until it is finished. If you think I'm tough to deal with, you don't want to cross my wife, I'm generally the good cop in the traditional good cop, bad cop sinerio.

In conclusion, they are the one that sets the time frame, not me. So again, its not to much to demand that they keep to it.
