I've looked in the archives and nobody talks about what wheels they have when they lower their car. I am thinking about dropping the car between 1.5 to 2 inches.

I have 89 IROC w/ zr-1 wheels with the tire size above and I would like to know if anyone has lowered their car with similar size tires and how much is too much.

The stock springs make the car sit funny because I've installed light headers and ASCD SS fiberglass hood in front and two amps,subs, and moved battery to back. This really helped my traction though.

I hope the aftermarket springs I get don't react badly to the weight transfers I have made either. They should be ok since they are stiffer. I am thinking about getting the Jamex or Intrax because of the price and the ride heights they offer. The eibach kit is a little too much for my wallet.

Do you guys also know for sure which springs are progressive rate and which brands aren't. From what I read in the archives they all are.
