I think the problem is that the caliper hits the inside face of the wheel. Sorry I havent gotten the kit yet. I think if you put a 1/4 or .5 inch spacer between the wheel and hub will fix the problem.

I know on the rears you might (will) have to 'trim' some meterial from the caliper. I also know that there were two manufactures for those wheels and they had a very minor offset difference, but not enough to help you out on this one. As for the front, I dont think you will be able to get away with it without running a 3/16" or so spacer.

The back of the rim center is pretty flat and doesnt give you a whole lot of room for an aftermarket or even the bigger OE stuff to fit. Although, There is a wheel company in Los Angles that makes a copy of that wheel in 15,16 and 17" versions. But, they are about $300.00 a wheel. Guldstrand used to use them on his "GS-80" and "GS-90" cars, and I used to put all kinds of brakes in those wheels....Alcon, Brembo, Willwood and so on.

The company is Epsilon modular wheels in El Segundo California. 310-536-0407.

Thanks for responding guys

Thats very helpful info. Now I know why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. I like the wheel option chacane67
seems a shame you cant. I wonder if the 1LE front brakes pose the same problem, would you know with the 16 GTA wheels????

thanks again for the responses

Well so far the centers for the 15's are pretty much the same as the 16's. So it looks like the problem would still limit this application.........I am still waiting for a reply from a SCCA Tech cat that I know....the only reason I am still waiting for her reply is that she owns the same car and is limited to brakes such as the 1LE option. I'll post when I hear from her.

so are you saying the 1LE brake option WILL fit with the stock 16 GTA wheels. Steve Spohn said the front would work without a problem, Im sure he knows but I never hear or saw anyone that has them with these wheels. Can someone confirm the 1LE will clear
