Springs or Shocks?
I have a custom sub box in the back of the hatch well. The back of my car sits a bit lower than the wrong, and bottems out allot (driving slow too!)
Do I need new rear shocks; or springS?
thanks.

springs.
springs are what acuatly support the wieght (i know i am going to hear it for saying it like that, but it makes it easy to understand when stated like that).

My car used to bottom out a lot if I hit a bump too hard or had heavy people in my car. The problem was easily solved by changing the rear springs. My car sits higher in the back now and looks a little meaner for a 2.8.
Definately springs. But I would recommend doing front and rear at the same time. You never really want to work rear to front when it comes to suspension.....not to mention its cheaper to buy a spring kit, instead of seperately.

you will probably need to get a higher rate spring for the rear if you have extra weight back there.

yea it's the springs. tired and worn. you should probably replace the shocks while your at it. they are what dampens the bumps. if the current ones are old, change them too.
