Adjustable panhard bar problems>>>

Hey everyone, after putting on my adjustable pbar, the rear feels looser now, I tried to match the length of the the factory one, but it just doesn't feel stable in the rear any more?? Which way do I need to adjust it to make the rear tighten up?(make the bar shorter/longer)?PLEASE ANYONE??

Well I have a question for you...has the car been lowered?

If it has, you will need to shorten the bar. Reason: The car is shipped from the factory at a set ride height. When you lower the chassis, you effectivly move the entire differential to the left. It also will change the rear alignment (rear tracking). So when you jump on it, in its geometry it over compensates for the alignment difference realitive to thrust.

Put the car on a flat surface. Loosen the pan hard rod. Measure the outside of the wheel to the rear subframe (factory not a subframe connector). Adjust the bar until its centered, and remember to check it after you have completed tightening the jam nuts.

the pan hard is mostly to hinder side movement. adjust the bar so that the rear is centered. thats the main idea.

Just to verify--- you didn't remove the panhard rod brace did you? That would be the stamped metal bar that runs paralell and directly above the panhard rod.
