Post your pics of your dropped Camaros!!!
Want to lower my 91' Camaro but not exactly sure how extreme I want to go. Also list the method you used to lower it and total inches dropped.

Mine is about 2" with Eibach Sportlines and removing the spring isolaters. But I slipped a piece of garden hose over the first coil on each spring to keep the springs from squeaking against the metal.

I'd post a pic of my car but I dont feel like having everyone bash on it and all that crap. So I'll just explain my drop. Pretty much I have 91-92 Z28 style rims. And the tires are slightly tucked into the well.

How do some of you jack the car up when the need arises or manage to avoid obstacles in the road like protruding man hole covers and what not?? I have Eibach Pros and its a major hassle, cant even get into the quick change oil places anymore and trying to get it on a swing arm or drive on lift is always an adventure with the dual cats and low ground clearance...

Hey RSpeed, looks like you have a set of 17's on your 91......and it's lowered with the Eibach Sport Line Springs. Well....I have a 1991 Z28 all black with the SS ASCD hood (5.7 TPI L98) and I'm wanting to get a set of the 17 inch American Racing Torq Thrust II's and I'm wanting to lower it with a set of the Eibach Sportline Springs. Do you have any trouble with the tires scrapping your wheel wells or have any kind of trouble since it's lowered about 2 inches and running 17 inch rims?? Thanks Man

Here's my Iroc: Eibach Pro-kit, factory 16" wheels, 245/50-16s. I left the isolators in, too.

Jason, I see that you posted a pic of that white Z28? That is my dream car. For those of you who dont know, That white Z28 up near the middle of this thread is an extreamly rare 1991 COPO Z28 camaro. 383, fully custom built engine by John Linginfelter himself for the CEO of Chevrolet. That is the inspiration behind my 92z and what i hope it will one day become, a BAD *** MOTHER!

Not a camaro, but anyway. It has Pro-kit eibach springs in the front, with the stock springs from Mecham in the back. Its 1-2 inches lower then a stock 82.

RU-QUICK, Whats is funny is that I found that car doing a search of 1991-1992 camaros and I ALSO found it on E-bay, funny thing is that it was only about 6 mos ago and the starting bid was 25,000 and WITH a reserve... I wonder how much it went for, if it went at all. But with over 450hp put to the ground, im sure it was worth every penny of it. :lala: :lala: :hail: :hail: :hail:

Nice work. Good advice! I haven't added Willie's twin flo intercooler,or a custom intercooler yet- I have the Aeromotive FP controller that needs to be installed-if that doesn't cure the fuel pressure drop/lean condition, then I will be adding some 96 lb. per hour injectors. I also need to get rid of the 4" cowl hood-can't see too good on the road course-also need to upgrade the brakes for Road America this spring. Might also add a water injection system on top of the intercooler so that I can run pump gas. Might be shorter to add what I HAVE done......
