Gear Ratio Help Needed

Im running a 15x8 inch wheel in the back with 275/60/15's and 15x5 205//70/15 in the front. The motor is a Chevy 355 throwing out about 430 horses and Im looking for a better rear gear maybe 4.10's? any suggestions appreciated.. By the way the transmission is a 700R-4 and is used for daily driving

with a OD trans 4:10s would be ok, be a lot of gear for the street but it'd work. 3:73s is the popular choice for most people here.

Car: 86 firebird with 98 firebird interi
Engine: pump gas 427sbc Dart Lil M 13.5:1
Transmission: Oldani TH400 w/ BTE 9" convertor
Axle/Gears: 31 spline Moser/full spool/4.11Rich
If he's gonna be running 275/60-15's that is a 28" tall tire, the 4.10 or 4.11's would be the ultimate gear of choice for that. If he was running 275/50-15 26" then yes the 3.73 would be a better match. If his HP #'s are correct and if he ever wants to drag it, he'll never use the full motor in the 1/4, he'd probably only tach about 45-52 hundred depending on stall and cam. For a daily driver that will never see the strip stay with the 3.73 and you'll have a good all around gear. Depending on how light his car is he could easily get away with 3.42's, if it's 3300lbs or lighter.
