How Difficult Is This?
I have 91 firebird and it is in major need of an front end rebuild.
I was considering getting an entire kit from PST nd installing it myself. My ???? is how hard would this be to do for the first time in my garage at home . Going to replace all bushings, ball joints, idle arm ,pitman, and everything else.
Thanks

I would recommend going w/ the PSC kit www.performancesuspension.com instead of the PST kit. I opted for this kit because it includes everything needed for a front end rebuild and they are federal mogul parts w/ energy suspension polyurethane bushings. The PST kit does not include the inner tie rod ends or the idler arm. I would also recommend getting the centerlink $65.00 in addition to the rebuild kit. You might want to check Spohn, he also has a front end rebuild kit.

I got my parts from p-s-t.
Their "kit" is not complete, you need to get the other parts a la cart.
spohn has everything in one kit.
Howevr, p-s-t has free shipping and no taxes. something to consider

I did myself in my driveway for the first time. I didn't even understand the whole front suspension until I did it, but I didn't have any problems. Have a manual ready and take your time. It's all pretty straight forward. You'll have to have the bushings in the a-arms, anmd the ball joints pressed in and out by a machine shop. I recommend doing it. You learn about your car, it's not hard and when people say "Where did you get your suspension done?" You can proudly say "I did it." I hate when people shop all there work out. In my opinion it's not YOUR car unless YOU do the work. Otherwise your just have own someone else's product. Email me if you have any questions.
