ANyone know of some good suspension tuning pages?...
I'm trying to fully understand how a suspension should be set up and what not. ANyone know of any good web pages? thanks.
Or also if you could help me out in this section also. I have stiff springs (800lbs/175lbs) and at the current moment a stock RS front sway bar and a 18mm 93 Z28 rear sway bar. According to some pages I shouldnt buy sway bars because I already have stiff springs. I'm just wondering if sway bars would atcually help me...or if I dont atcually even need them. (by need them I mean aftermarket ones)

I was looking for similar articles the other day and found some good info.
Goto www.findarticles.com and type in "suspension basics" under the magazine name European Car. There's a 7 part article on suspension basics and tuning. The figures aren't on this web sight but the reading is very good. You might have to do a little browsing to find all the articles.

I know its not exactly what you asked but...
Try the series "Tune to Win" , "Engineer to Win" etc
by Carroll Smith...
bit of a badd *** but certainly has the credentials
( Ford GT40 program )
Librarian should be able to find it for you....

I like this comment from the link ausrs posted:
The ideal end state is a neutral handling car which neither understeers or oversteers in a constant turn at a constant speed. A well set up car can be pushed into oversteer by more throttle, and back toward understeer by backing off the throttle - you can "steer" a well-balanced car by the throttle alone.
Thats badass!!
