I want to set my car up for autocross and drag. not be extremely good at either, but good at both. First off, shocks/struts. How many adjustable points do I really need? 3 sounds good to me... next, springs. just go with the eiback pro kit? next, brakes. The brakes on my car work pretty good...they're stock 4wheel disc non-1le, but I was thinking the Baer Tracks with 13in rotors for the front. Do I need to get new ones for the back? Last, lift bars. I have a SSM Lift Bar kit on my drag car. it works hella good for drag applications. I want to use this kit on this car as well, will it affect handling? It stiffens the rearend up a lot. it's welded to the rearend on either side by bars which have pivot points on the SFCs. Thanks.

In my opinion (and sure to start some debate)...
I think any mods for autocross will reduce the weight transfer that you want for drag racing and vice-versa. You want softly-sprung and valved suspension to transfer weight to the rear wheels if you have lots of torque to plant off the line in a drag race. Such a setup will increase brake dive and acceleration squat.
I would improve the front brakes and leave the rears alone. Going with a good aftermarket (large!) front brake setup should have you laughing. They're the ones doing all the work.

the soft/hard needed for drag/autox was why I was thinking about adjustable shocks/struts. that way I can adjust their stiffness depending on what track I was at. I just don't know how many adjustable points I would need to make the adjustment from autox to drag racing and vice versa. springs I'll have set more for autoxing, though. Also, thanks for the reply.
