Brake experts solve this one

ok, I have a 1984 Trans am 4 wheel disc brakes....They are all rubbing pretty bad...You have to push the pedal all the way down to stop the car what could be the problem/problems the car was in storage for two years before this maybe the calipers are frozen??? Thanks

If the car has been sitting for 2 years, I would check to see if the calipers are frozen up, really a full out brake job wouldnt be out of the question.

Transmission: A4, A4, slated to be a T56
Flush fluid, replace front calipers and hoses, definitely rebuild or replace the rear calipers. They're almost definitely frozen.

front calipers are cheap, so are the hoses. you can get the recall brake repair kit for the rears, everything to rebuild them for 35 bucks.

then if you still have problems, do the PV and MC
