I have a 91 Z that Im putting a 383ci in. Im trying to make a torque monster
but I know I need to redo my suspension to handle the new power. I have been doing some research but wanted to ask what brands were better and such. Im looking into getting:
subframe connectors
steering support brace
strut tower brace
lower control arms
adj torque arm
eibach lowering kit with adj panhard rod and
LCA (antisquat brackets)
Please tell me if I may have left anything out, or if I dont need all of this stuff. Im not sure if its relevant on this board, but I also need some suggestions for a rear end.....I was thinking a 9inch Moser with 33 or 35 spline axles????? Any help would be appreciated....

Well, I wouldn't count the old GM rear out just yet. UNLESS you plan on running slicks and turning sub 1.7 60 ft times, it should hold up if it's in good shape. Get a support cover for it and run good synthetic lube.
As for the suspension......
I'm cheap, so take this into account.....
Strut tower brace won't help the performance of the car per se......just keeps the front frame rails from trying to go their seperate ways, especially when turning.
Subframe connectors......this is my next mod after I get the WC T-5 swapped in for the slusho 700. I'm leaning towards bolt-in Jegs SFC's, then having them welded in.
If it were me..... I'd get the LCA relocation brackets, take the stock LCA's and box them and then put either poly bushings or 1LE GM rubber bushings in 'em.......
I'd add poly bushings to the panhard par and the torque arm, as well as the tranny mount.
Just my highly inflated 2 cents

Well, My rear end is on its way out anyway, and my last trans am(1988), I had a 400ci and destroyed the ol 10bolt at the track and about killed myself, so Im gonna get a bulletproof 9inch.....as for the LCA's, Ive heard of people boxing them, but how do you do that exactly?????? Thanks for the suggestions
