Brake Bleed
Brake Bleed
With the master cyl. cover off, spouts of brake fluid fly out of the tank if I apply brake pressure too fast(during brake bleed). Is this normal or is my master cylinder starting to go and creating backpressure?
hope the kid didnt make a mess
j/k
you know what else doesnt help, putting on the top half a$$ then going to hit the brakes and nothing really happens, unless you stomp the pedal really down and you finally stop

Why do it the hard way?!?
Just go get some plastic hose that just fits over each bleeder screw. I found some perfect sized clear plastic hose at a Pet Suppy store ( aquarium ). Attach some hose to each bleeder screw. Then put the hose inside a small container ( I use empty 20oz Mt dew bottles ). Now take the cover off the master cylinder. Make sure it's full of fluid. Now crack loose the bleeder screw on the wheel farthest from the master cylinder ( pass rear ). LEAVE IT.......keep checking the master cylinder to make sure it doesn't go dry. The air bubbles will push themselves out of the fluid. I usually keep running each bleeder open to the fluid coming out is CLEAN........... Then close off the bleeder, and go to the next wheel.
Try it........
Only thing better ( read FASTER ) is a vacuum pump ( hand held ) where you can do it quickly from each wheel.
