as far as i know, there is no kit, if you had enough time and money, you could probably use a 4thgen rear since it has the sensor mounts there, that would be the easy part, finding a way to integrate the front wheel sensors would be the hard part. you would also need to get an ABS computer, and i am sure you would need a new master cyl from an ABS car. all and all it is A LOT OF WORK, and a lot of customer work, and i have yet to see it done. you money would probably be better spent upgrading the brakes to baer, or 1le. if you learn to brake, a non-abs car will out brake an ABS car any day of the week.

is there anyway to get rid of abs and go back to real (non-abs) brakes? I wanna get rid of them on the 96 4x4 my uncle is letting me borrow this winter. I can't STAND that brake pedal making weird *** noises and bouncing like crazy, EVERYTIME i come to a stop it does it and the tech at the dealership rode with me and said it was normal under "those braking conditions". I get paranoid and can't believe they still work....is there a ....de-retro-fit?
Something to think about: ABS provides a discount on insurance so if you think that installing it somehow will be cost effective in that you'll get the money back from the insurance company then go for it. But getting rid of it when its supposed to be there will probably negate your insurance in an accident (unless you tell them before hand).
