Struts/Shocks Comparison what to get?????
Ok this winter I am going to replace my springs and struts and shocks as well as some of the bushings that are really bad/worn. For instance, the torque arm bushing and the LCA bushings. The question comes down to the shocks/struts. I only have about $150 for the 2 shocks and the 2 struts. I have narrowed it down to the KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and GR-2 struts OR Competition Engineering rear shocks and front struts. I don't drive the car on an AutoX track ever, I never drift, and I hardly ever test the suspension to the max. I do, however, enjoy taking the freeway off ramps at a higher then warned speed and a few other little situations in everyday driving that a person would want somewhat tight handling. I take the car to the dragstrip every now and then. I would like to have slightly better handling then I do now (that's for sure). I do not need nor want the Bilstein feel though. I am going to buy IROC springs. The Competition Engineering shocks and struts are adjustable which is a major plus. Which would you guys pick here? How good can the Competition Engineering shocks/struts handle when set for everyday driving, gotta be better then my 100% shot ones now. What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Brady

anybody else take a shot at this opinions is what i want here
I would either spend all that $$ on the struts and leave the shocks for later, or do it vice versa. You dont want to settle for less when it comes to this stuff nomatter what type of driving you do. The choices you make will determine how your car rides and handles. Or you could do the struts/shocks later and go for a full bushings kit ($130) instead.
