I need TRACTION!!!

I just recently did a bunch of upgrades to my 88 camaro. With all this new power (probably a whole whopping 220 or so from my 305) i cant get the tires to hook up at all. On the back i have 245/70/14 eldorado gt's but i have some serious wheel hop and even if im cruising at about 15 or 20 and i stomp on it i dont move and all you see are big clouds of smoke. Right now there are 2 things im considering doing 1. getting a set of traction bars 2. get the sleeve and weld the frame together. But since im only 17 i have a limited budget. So if anyone would have any suggestions as to a low dollar setup to help me get the power to the ground i would really appreciate it.

your gonna need the traction bars (lift bars). relocation brackets for LCA's are mentioned a lot but I havent done that. You can also mount your battery in the passenger side of the rear "trunk" if you can call it that. Will need an outside kill switch though for racing. mickey thompson ET streets or BFG T/A drag radial tires would be great.

I bought the SSM lift bars made just for 82-92 Camaro... There is that "follow a plan" thing again, now I cant use them. backhalving the car with ladder frames instead, not much room on a 33" axle.
