Is this a good price for a front-end job?

My mechanic wants to charge me $250 even for replacing the idler arm, pitman arm,, tie rod, relay rod, struts + alignment and I'm gonna bring the parts.

Does this sound reasonable or not ? ( Keep in mind that I live in NYC, it' s expensive here )

what else will he be replacing besides the idler, pitman, tie rods and struts?

but $250 to replace those parts above is a pretty good deal.

for all that labor and an alignment, that's a good deal.

Don't replace the Pitman arm, it's nothing but a dumb piece of metal with no wear parts. It doesn't go bad, ever, unless it gets bent in a REALLY bad wreck. It's a witch with a capital B to change, probably $50 of the labor at least, and won't do anything at all to your car.

Put new poly sway bar bushings and end links on it instead.

Thanks for the input. I looked around today, and so far that's the best deal.
