I have a 85 trans am with the performance suspension package. I dont think its a WS6, not sure if they even had that in 85 yet or not, but anyways I was just wondering if anyone knew what it included. My friend has a 86 trans am without the performance suspension and it handles drastically different than mine. Thanks in advance

 

Does your car have rear disc or drum brakes if it has discs you have a ws6 car if it has drums I believe it an f41 car there are many differences between the two but most of it is spring rates and sway bars as far as the suspension goes.

Does the disc thing only apply to the early cars? Cause I have an 87 formula with the WS6 option on the RPO. No rear discs. I've had the car since 91 and know it was all original.






PS. It also came with 2.73 open rear end and an LG4.. The RPO for the rear ratio is there. No rpo for posi or for disc.
