Tire Q's

I have some Ieas on the sizes I want. But a was wondering what brands would be good. I have been looking into Yokohamas and BFG's. I want some tires that will hook up good and have decent tread life. What size would give better hanldeing and cornering? I would likre to go as wide as possible with out going to tall.

Probably a 7.625 inch 10 bolt GM rear. If you have 15's, they are 15x7's. 235/60R15's work the best on that wheel. You can also use some 245/60R15's on the rear, but they will rub on the front. Good corning tires are harder to find for 15 inch wheels--lower profile(shorter) tires are too short. However, 235/60's will be an improvement over the 215/65r15's your car probably came with--same height but wider.
