how differen't is a 9 bolt to rebuild then a 10 bolt?

how differen't is a 9 bolt to rebuild then a 10 bolt?
I watched a guy today rebuild a 10 bolt locker out of his 81 T\A. and it seemed very easy\straight foward. like something i would have no problem at. but how differen't are these two monsters? --> 9 bolt limited slip and 10 bolt locker?
